How do I know?

Because I built it for myself and my business.

 

When I first entered the industry, I looked for a digital way to record all my student data and lesson planning in one space. The only online systems I could find handled everything from customer management, calendar bookings and online payments, but charge MDI's a 25%* commission on the online payment.

On an average 1.5 hour lesson of $165, that's $41.25 per lesson.

 

Having previously worked in the IT Industry, I leveraged my own skills and knowledge to create a system available at a fraction of the price.

 

Still in its early development stage, MDI's joining our Beta Program at LN Studio (Learners Nexus Studio) are charged $49.50 per month and a flat rate of $3.30 per lesson recorded (with your first 15 lessons free). Account setup fees apply.

 

Granted this doesn't include a booking website with online payment,

but we can also do that too (see below).

Why Online Bookings Are Essential

Online booking takes the friction out of managing lessons and payments for both instructors and students. It allows clients to see availability, book lessons, and make payments at any time, reducing missed calls and back-and-forth messages.

 

For instructors, it saves time, improves scheduling accuracy, and creates a more professional experience, letting you focus on teaching rather than administration.

Our booking system can be replicated for your MDI business too. It works with minimal monthly costs, and the transaction fees associated with online payments can be passed directly onto the customer. We also give customers the option to pay via BSB Transfer, to avoid the online fees. 

 

For best results, we recommend using Xero + Stripe for online payments, and Calendly for online bookings. Both require ongoing third-party subscriptions not paid to us.
